The books are realistic and revealing, relentless in unveiling the dark underbelly of Canadian crime. Being a police office in plain clothes is one thing; becoming a criminal is another. Loose Ends is Easton's first book in the Taggart series. Though he encounters some first-time author stumbles, the end result is both gripping and grisly. Actor and AudioFile Earphones Award-winner David Drummond softens some of the shocking scenes without compromising the overall verisimilitude of this dark debut.

When you all play with a different set of rules...murder, mayhem and marriage make for very strange bedfellows. Bikers vs cops,good and evil clash and sometimes co-mingle.
Loved it!
Great story. Well developed characters and story line with lots of twists. Kept my interest. Lots of action and great climax. Ending did not let me down!

Jack Taggart is not your proverbial "tough guy", but he is real and effective. His methods are frowned upon by his police chief, but that's what makes him who he is - a loose canon, and very endearing.
A good book to read about a man with principles.
Jack Taggart is a man you would not want to have a grudge against you when he makes a promise to keep you safe and sound.

Absolutely fantastic. One of the best books I've read. Full of great characters, thrill packed, action galore and tons of surprises. Don't wait, read it now. This book deserves ten stars.
