Lord Binds Breach, the phrase gives you a clear view of choosing the path the Lord wants us to walk, or receive the later correction. We see no clearer instruction and example than that of Judah here as the prophet relays the Word of the Lord. It is as we find in 1st John chapter one where the Apostle says “If we walk in the light as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us from all unrighteousness.” While Judah found themselves in the Sinai covenant, there was the truth and the light to which they were to walk in. Any other choice would bring trouble. They had too, as do we; be found in the Light of the Lord walking as he walked.

Lord Binds Breach brings us to Pt74 in Isaiah’s Prophetic Book. It begins with a phrase that many Christians today like. It goes like this “And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee, saying ‘this is the way, walk ye in it.'” The Lord himself said “My sheep hear my voice.” A truth that goes deep into the relationship with our Lord. So too, through the Prophets and the Torah; Judah could hear from the Lord. This was the time of the Sinai covenant. Yet here Judah needed to throw off their backsliding and make up their mind. This comes on the heels of Isaiah’s warning of the invader that would come. Nothing like persecution, troubles, and unsettling events to make you draw closer to the Lord. A lesson to those of us living in our divided and unsettled America today .
