Genesis 18:13-14 Then the Lord said to Abraham, “Why did Sarah laugh and say, ‘Will I really have a child, now that I am old?’ Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return to you at the appointed time next year, and Sarah will have a son.”
We are continuing in our summer preaching by focusing on the promise given to Abraham and Sarah.
It has been said that a hope deferred makes a heart sick, and sometimes when we're waiting for the fulfillment of the promise, we lose heart and grow weary. But when the Lord speaks, we have to respond.
When God gives a promise, we are called to receive it, believe it, and participate in it. And that's what we'll be talking about today!
