Hey fam,

If I am being so honest, lately I've just been tired.

Tired of carrying things God never asked me to carry. Tired of feeling like I need to do more, be more, achieve more, and somehow earn what Jesus already paid for. Tired of striving.

I think sometimes we can get so caught up in doing things for God that we forget He first invited us into relationship with Him. We start measuring our walk by our productivity, our discipline, our ministry, our consistency, and before we know it we're carrying a weight He never asked us to carry.

The crazy thing is, when I actually stop and look back, God has been so faithful. I may not be where I want to be, but I am definitely not where I used to be. The fact that He saved me, transformed me, delivered me, and continues to draw me closer to Himself is proof that He is working even when I don't always see it.

The Lord has been reminding me that He isn't asking me to strive. He's asking me to abide. He's not asking me to earn His love. He's asking me to receive it. He's not asking me to carry the burden alone. He's asking me to come to Him with it.

Maybe you've been feeling tired too. Maybe you've been carrying expectations, pressures, fears, or responsibilities that God never actually put on your shoulders.

This episode is just an honest conversation about that. About striving, surrender, grace, and learning how to return to the place of abiding in Christ.
