God has reasons behind everything He does. The Sabbath presents to us a concept God wanted man to have. He used Jesus Christ to fullfil the law and help us understand what a real sabbath looked like. He fulfilled the law in His life demonstrating the love we all need. And He also helped us understand His intention for mankind through the Sabbath and what He wants for man through what His Son did on those Sabbath days. God was showing us what rest really looked like.
