This week we pick back up in the Gospel of John in John 5:1-18. Jesus begins to make clearer and bolder claims concerning his identity and relationship to God. These claims will challenge his disciples and ultimately will motivate the Jewish leaders to have him killed. But Jesus purposefully picks these fights. He has a mission: to die on the cross!
