Psalm 90, written by Moses, is the oldest psalm in the Book of Psalms. In it, Moses talks about how short the life of man is, and how full of sin the life of man is. Consequently, Moses teaches that the appropriate response to these truths is to pray to God for wisdom - wisdom to number our days, realize the finiteness of our lives, fear the LORD, and rely on His mercy.
