This is it, folks. The very last episode of Lorehaven Hearth. 

Seth, Celina, and Morgan have all had a fantastic time presenting to you the Great Wheel cosmological model of D&D, and we hope it has informed your own games and stories. And if we have inspired you to do a bit more exploring and research for yourselves, all the better!

Well, this is it, folks! We made it to the finale. 

Season 2, our Tour of the Great Wheel, is over and we gather together to discuss the season as a whole. The Highs, the Lows; all the Bits. We also look back a bit on the show as a whole; storytelling and tangents alike. 

As a special treat, Seth gave us a fuller description of his character Daq, in our upcoming D&D novel. He's going to be a delight to travel along with. 

Look forward to one last Second Wind in two weeks, on "dee-20-eth", with a few last bits of banter and clarification.

This is not the Season Wrap Up! 

This is an explanation of what is coming next, from Celina, Morgan, and Seth. 

The Wrap Up will be coming, but in December. We figured that we'd been teasing and hinting at our next project long enough, and that it was time to bring you a full chat about what to expect. 

We're all sad to see Lorehaven Hearth coming to an end, but very excited to start this new project. Its structure is unlike anything we've read or heard before, and we think you'll come to enjoy it as much as we do. 

If you know someone who might also be intrigued by the blending of genre's structures, or delight in a rich, rewarding narrative, or perhaps somehow identify with one of the characters, share this with him or her! In this climactic finale of the Lorehaven Hearth Planar Series, Seth and Celina journey to the two opposing hearts of the multiverse — the Blessed Fields of Elysium and the Gray Waste of Hades. From the radiant meadows where the River Oceanus flows to the desolate glooms where color and hope fade away, this episode explores how Dungeons & Dragons has portrayed these realms across every edition, from 1e’s foundational cosmology to 5e’s Great Wheel revival.

The Season is wrapping up! Seth and Celina have a good discussion about the differences, but also the similarities, of the Beastlands with other heavens, and laughingly cringe their way through the awful, desperate brutality that is Gehenna. 
Then, as an added bonus, we have Tony, from Dungeons and Disciples drop by for a short interview, and to get a sense of what his and Josh's show is about. It was fun having him share some about it, and get to know him a bit, too. 
Enjoy this "anitpenultimate" episode, and be sure to come back for the Second Wind, then the last discussion of two specific Planes next month. The final episode, a complete Wrap Up of all the Planes, will come in November, with its possible Second Wind dropping in December.

Here is episode "10", if anyone is actually keeping track of the pattern we're "following" around the Great Wheel. 

Here are Lorehaven Hearth, we discuss to rich, storied lore of Dungeons and Dragons - and occasionally Pathfinder. While we're are it, we examine it from a Christian perspective, and look for ways to redeem the TTRPG genre. 

Season 2 has afforded us some fantastic discussions so far, as we've traveled our way around the Great Wheel, two Planes of existence at a time. Mt. Celestia and Bytopia remind us of most of what the Bible describes the new Heaven we have to look forward to will look like, while every one of the Lower Planes have left us with their individual flavors of "ick". 

We're reaching the end of the Season, with just two other pairs, and a wrap up episode to go, after this one. We're in talks about what the theme for Season 3 will be, as well as discussing ways to expand the types of content we send your way.

     Yes, This one is being numbered as 11, even though it is coming to you 10th. There has been a pattern to our madness of going around the Great Wheel Model, but with our Producer's computer failures, this is the episode we have ready this month. So when you inevitably listen to the whole season again, listen in numerical order, albeit not release date. 

     In this episode of Lorehaven Hearth, Seth and Celina continue discussions of the Lesser Heavens and Hells, with first the somehow balance but scarcely visited Bytopia, then the utter desolation and isolation that awaits anyone sent to Carceri. Seth and Celina give a brief description and history, cover how to travel to, within, and out (if ever that be achieved), and toss out some ideas of how to use this building block in your own story. And of course, there's a description of some of the (terrifying) creatures you may (not want to) meet there. Lastly, Seth takes a sidestep over to a philosophical discussion, asking why it is that specifically the negative Planes, but all evil places and creatures in general, are more developed and interesting than the good Planes and "good guys".
