How to think about showing up in a male-dominated work environment:

1. Know your craft really well-- you will be tested.

2. Seek out allies who can champion your expertise

3. Think about where YOU want to go in your career-- just because you are showing up as one of the only women doesn't mean you have to be an advocate or in the spotlight. It's your career, do what you want to do.

4. REMEMBER when you are intimidated that you DO know what you are doing. So stay calm and do the work you are great at.
