Episode 132: Lori works as an international human rights lawyer, which has taken her to live in countries around the world, including many years in Spain. She founded an international NGO dedicated to using strategic litigation to advance women's rights, and currently works as an independent consultant for the Council of Europe, UN and other intergovernmental bodies. She holds a BA from UC Berkeley in English and a JD from Columbia Law School. She lives with her daughter, Sophia, who is currently blossoming into a rebellious adolescent, and their dog Holiday, and spends much time reading, cooking and is in the outdoors whenever she can.
