It’s been almost 3 years since we featured singer songwriter Lori McKenna on The Tiny Stage. Since that night on November 11, 2014, she won a CMA for Song of the Year for Girl Crush performed by Little Big Town. She was nominated for the Grammy Award for Song of the Year and won Best Country Song, also for Girl Crush, both in 2016. In 2017 she again won Best Country Song at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards for "Humble and Kind" performed by Tim McGraw. And one year ago this month she released her 9th solo album, The Bird and The Rifle. It’s only fitting on this night of featuring “Local Women Who Rock” that we re-broadcast this incredible show.
