Lori Vallow was a loving Mormon mother who tried finding the perfect father to complete the "all American family". Soon her slow descent into madness, makes the cracks in this family dynamic shift to reveal the darkness on the inside. Using her brother Alex as a pawn in her game of chess, she seemingly manipulates everyone around her to do her bidding. 

Once she meets Dooms Day author Chad Daybell, things spiral out of control. Her fascination with the RLDS church shifts from a wholesome Mormon experience to becoming obsessed with the end of the world. With Chad at the forefront of her mind, she found a new prophet, a new man to stand behind so she can rule the world with after the apocalypse. As she leaves a trail of bodies in her path of self-destruction. 

Including that of her two children... JJ and Tylee...
