This episode of the Executive Broadcasting Channel podcast was an emotionally charged one for our guest Lorrie Suenram Servati. As a parent of a child with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Lorrie’s most important job has been, and will always be, to advocate on his behalf. In the spring of 2008, Lorrie’s youngest son Nathan, who was almost 5-years-old, was diagnosed with autism. It was at that point Lorrie began her exciting adventure advocating for Nathan, and eventually later for all children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
She has navigated through the school system to help her son and others with ASD. Not only does she work with students in her school, she is heavily involved in her local Autism organizations and camps.
