Losing 30 million naira, Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, Debts, Loans | Growing Through The Struggles
We cannot deny that young people are going through a lot especially at times like this in Nigeria.
In the past two weeks, I’ve had the privilege to hear from more than 10 of my friends and other young people around me.
They were in my DM at intervals with different burdens. Some were depressed, broke, in debts, frustrated and even one of them was at the point of ending it all.
This is not just because of the state of the country but also because some of them had made some wrong financial decisions and life mistakes that is leaving them in distress.
I tried my best to encourage them the best way I know. But then, these stories they shared with me has inspired me to share my story and how I experienced the same if not more and how God helped me navigate that period of what seemed like and unending tempest in my life.
This is a vulnerable edition for me. With my wife’s permission, I will be sharing some of the deepest things I’ve dealt with in the past months and I hope it helps you find answers.
