Love affairs are amazing, when they're good and everyone is deliriously happy. But what happens when the thrill is gone and the relationship goes stale. You may decide that is is the best interest of both parties to go your separate ways. What's worse, is when one party begins to move on while the other is still in the relationship. The We That Was attempts to reminds us when love was good.

What happened?

We used to share everything.

Thoughts, dreams, fantasies,

Desires, you name it.

Suddenly, the sharing stopped,

And the secrecy began.

We grew apart.

You abandoned the love affair…

And me.

I guess some things 

Just weren’t meant to be.

That was the end 

Of you and me.
