"Losing My Religion"...Decolonizing Your Theology Pt. 1
#7. Justine, Andres, and Abdullah begin a three-part series on decolonizing your theology. In this episode they discuss what the idea of colonized theology means and give some examples (some from their own lives) of what it looks like. They discuss research on the racial attitudes of Christians from PRRI, Pew Research Center, The Barna Group and others, as well as some helpful books to learn about the history of racist iseaas and whiteness. Abdullah discusses a very poignant example of racist ideas he perpetuated during his ministry career.
