Suffering should be viewed as a blessing and advantage in the life of a believer. Persecution for the sake of Christ allows us to partake in His sufferings and brings us into a deeper fellowship with Him. These trials and hardships serve to reveal the power of God within us. The seed of life that the believer receives is inherently designed to endure persecution and suffering. This leads us to the place of becoming a witness—a martyr, even if it requires laying down our lives.
