My song “Lost It” gives a perspective of how friends viewed me growing up. I moved to Las Vegas from Chicago with my parents and four siblings as a kid. My dads job fell through and left us homeless. We moved into a nice house years later. Unfortunately, my parents had a mortgage too high and pay too low. Long story short, my family was not as well off financially as my “friends” believed. They thought I “Lost It” after my dad died. But I didn’t lose it, I never had it in the first place. This song is prevailing a truth they were unaware of.
