my poem:
He loves me like my dad
By not caring about me at all
No mind
No heart
No soul
Pretty young thing
With nowhere to go
Lost soul
Begging for a man
To call her own
Friends with benefits
Without the friendliness
He seeks love
Yet, never gives it
Takes it for himself
And tosses me to the wolves
Once my brain fully develops
Plays with his food
Never swxllows it
Stxrves himself
For a fix of deprivation
Consumed by self inflicted dxpression
Hxll isn’t somewhere you’re born
You’re invited
A place you visit
He chooses burnt coal
Over a woman who gives freely
A precious stone
A dainty daisy
A beautiful baby
He would never love me
Because, he’s too ashamed of himself
His taste for dxmons
I asked to be seen
He shut the door
Locked it twice
With my claws still in the frame
Hot enough for a secret
Svxy enough for a weekend
Not enough to keep his attention
I wasn’t supposed to fall in love
Just a living twisted fantasy
