Something changed last night. She can feel it, senses it in the fog, hear it in the trees. And she’s not the only one. Tensions bubble just beneath the surface, even as they pretend everything’s fine. There gear starts failing. The fog gets closer. And what starts as a lighthearted morning ends with something dragging itself through the trees something watching. Waiting.
