This is not a popular view amongst music professionals including some of my  colleagues,  but the more life I live in music, the more I see it as bigger than flat and sharp notes and everyone should be given grace to participate regardless of skill. A bunch of "off" notes to me could be another persons doorway to peace, healing and transformation for the better. no?...
