Say it loud! I'm gay and I'm proud! Not to be conflated with civil rights for Black Americans though the struggle hurts just the same. That said, this year I was able to be a float in my hometown's pride parade, and it appears that while I had intended on making a declaration about PRIDE on behalf of others, I ended up making one HUGE statement on behalf of myself.
