DMV Spotlight on 3-9-2025 shines a light on Mental Health Training being officers by Loudoun County’s Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services. Guest Melanie Myers, Prevention/intervention Program Manager explains the various Mental Health training services being offered by Loudoun County on a monthly basis, including Adverse Childhood Experiences Training or ACEs to raise awareness of childhood trauma impacts into adulthood such as abuse and neglect, Mental Health First Aid training that is designed to help people facing a mental health crisis and the Revive program to for Opioid Overdose Reversal using Naloxone.
Loudoun County provides all of the training free of charge.
