Today we will talk about Louise Arner Boyd. She was the world’s leading female Arctic explorer, geographer and arctic photographer. Louise organized, financed and led seven maritime expeditions without a formal education, limited outdoor expertise and no family members alive to advise her.

No matter how painful, we can only move forward by accepting the truth.
