The Department of Education will face evaluations regarding its funding allocations and the effectiveness of federal programs on student outcomes. DOGE will assess the agency's role in ensuring equitable access to education, compliance with education regulations, and efforts to address student loan debt. Stakeholder engagement will be analyzed, as well as the Department's initiatives in promoting STEM education and supporting students with disabilities. Recommendations for improving program effectiveness and enhancing transparency will be offered based on the findings.
