My next guest is Louise Chandler. She has worked for over 20 years as a media and communications specialist which includes the BBC TV and radio and consulted for The Prince's Trust, Superdrug, and Afro Business Expo. Last year, she represented The Barbados & Friends Association and spoke at The Houses of Parliament about the Windrush generation and her Barbadian Heritage. Lou works in marketing and corporate communications for Oxford County Council and writes for various blogs. She is passionate about championing black women and their achievements all year round. Lou shares what Black history month means to her and how ‘Race is everybody's business’.
