THE BLR DAY 15 - THE FINAL DAY 2017
What a way to finish! John, John, Justin, and Kathy delivered Pudsey and Lou safely to Knowsley Safari Park. Liam then kept them both safe from Lions, and Tigers, and Bears (Oh my!) as an amazing sight occurred around the park. A HUGE thank you to Knowsley for being so supportive and accomodating. In fact a MASSIVE shout out to all the amazing venues that have let us overrun them over the last 2 weeks.
To finalise a day that nobody will forget, Louise and the Relay were given an honour by Theresa May, Prime Minister, called the Points of Light Award. It recognises individuals doing amazing work for charities and in their community. This was Point of Light #833, and everyone agrees it was well deserved - and a total surprise to Louise. We bring you the presentation and Louise's response.
