Kellie Alford, Candidate for House District 64
www.votekelliealford.com
Raised in Baton Rouge, Kellie is a wife, mother, and successful small business owner. Kellie and her husband, Scott, have lived in Denham Springs (Watson) for 25 years. Together they founded a small business, Alford’s Landscaping, building it from the ground up. Kellie also started a second family business, Legacies Management of Louisiana, with her daughter-in-law in 2021. Kellie and Scott have the same passion, build business around people.
Kellie is a conservative Republican and a member of the Livingston Parish Republican Women. She is also a member of the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Livingston (class of 2023), and is an alumnus of Louisiana Women Lead. Kellie and Scott are active community members and attend As One United in Christ Fellowship in Denham Springs.
Kellie is not a career politician. She stood up agains the unconstitutional mandate during Covid-19 when he governor said go home, they told their employees to come to work. She fought for businesses and churches to open up, and students to be able to play sports. She was a citizen who became concerned with our state's direction and felt compelled to run. She felt the voices of Louisiana residents had been muted, which was unacceptable to her. Kellie has the backbone and tenacity to make your voices heard at the capitol.
