God didn’t have to send his son, Jesus, into the world. He was under no obligation to do so. So, why? Why did Christmas happen? Love. Love is the why behind Christmas. And love must become the great why of our lives. Christmas means we must love our neighbor, our enemy, and the poor and those in need—all people. As we learn to love all, we become outlets for God's great love to multiply out into the world.
