Love and Lightning

DK’s anchor has always been music — sounds just make perfect 'scents' in her world.Having navigated 18 demanding years in the fast-paced tech industry, DK found solace, stillness, and purpose while practicing / teaching mindful meditation. Botanical exploration and herbal medicine-making emerged as a natural extension of DK's own quest for healing, which led her to study complementary modalities under the Mind-Body Transformational Psychology program at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts (Tempe, Arizona).

While earning certifications as a clinical Aromatherapist and Reflexologist in a traditional therapeutic setting, DK transcended the curriculum from her own inner-sanctuary. Olfactory memory became a mode of transportation. DK's unique ability to bottle experiences and make music smell good left lasting reverb on her classmates, instructors, and musician friends alike. By blending her synesthetic intuition and passion for innate healing with a life-long orientation towards serving others, Es•scent•ial Sensory Remedies was born, and DK's Koncoctions came to be.

The holistic approach DK takes to healing as an art ensures individualized care,
attention, and attunement. In every endeavor — be it orchestrating a sensory
experience, walking with others towards self-advocacy, dream-weaving within the
collective, or translating a signature symphony of smells — DK stands proud as a
creative vessel. A sounding-board, dedicated to nourishing one's true essence and life-force energy on a molecular level.

In this episode, our guest, Claudia Milligan, speaks candidly about becoming a Medium after her son transitioned to Spirit.

About Claudia Milligan:

Claudia was a nice, logical, rational person- until her son David passed at the age of 29 and she decided she wasn't letting him go (and she wasn't ready to go where he went.) So, she accepted his invitation to stay connected with him and began almost daily letters to- and from David. Her book Letters to David: Following My Son Into Spirit is the tale of how she and David learned to have a new relationship in two different worlds.

Claudia is a medium, Reiki Master, and healer practicing in Arizona. For more on Claudia Milligan's journey and insights into the everlasting nature of love and spirit, visit her website at www.hello-from-home.com. "Letters To David: Following My Son Into Spirit" offers a new lens through which to view life, death, and the everlasting connections that continue to enrich our lives.

In this episode, we welcome special guest Kelly Marie who discusses her spiritual journey and using her spiritual gifts with plant medicine to help others.

About Kelly Marie:

"I have always had a love for humanity and wanted to help make the world a better place. I started my personal growth journey when I was 17years old. I recognized that it would be the 'easy route' to be a product of my negative environment. Choosing a different route would be hard and challenging, but I was willing to pursue the hard choice to follow a path that would yield more positive results.  I sought out different guides and shaman along my personal growth journey to help heal myself. I became a hairstylist at the age of 18 and realized that I had a platform which allowed me to speak into people’s lives. By my early 30’s I was on a path to becoming a shaman myself. I discovered that my hair career and shaman work complimented each other. Working as a stylist for over 21years now, my empathic abilities have grown in strength and sensitivity allowing me to sense other’s hurts and pains and identify how to help them along their journey. "
