Welcome to week 2 of Black History Month. This week a couple of brilliant films were watched for the first time. Love and Basketball is an early 2000's film that should not be discarded as just another teen romance movie. Just like Purple Rain shouldn't be viewed as just another musical. Sure the acting might be over the top, but that soundtrack is a classic.
