Once again Elizabeth Musser draws the reader into her characters. You want to read the next chapter after the book is finished! The spirituality of the characters makes one want to strive to be a leader to others.

very good

A fast read that leaves you thinking! Is it 1868 or 2015?

This book arrived via Kindle today and was worth the wait. Although written about 1868, it was so relevant in light of all that is happening recently in our country. Emily, the protagonist, illustrated the conflicted emotions that we feel when trying to please others and yet be faithful to a higher calling. Loved how this short story turned out, suspense with romance! Elizabeth Musser is my favorite author yet again!
