While picking one petal off a flower, a person alternately speaks the phrases He loves me. He loves me not. The last petal represents the truth between the object of their affection loving them or not. Although the game appears childish, sometimes we play the game with God. We wonder if God really loves us or not. We quietly question what it looks like to have a loving relationship with God, and we are not quite sure what the last petal will reveal.
