Publisher's Summary:
Ashley Reynolds, who hates even having her picture taken, lands herself smack in the middle of a reality television dating show. She finds herself surrounded by glamour girls and pageant queens all vying for a date with the handsome bachelor. Ashley's plan to fly under the radar and get sent home early falters when she inadvertently draws unwanted attention her way.
Bad boy quarterback Luke Townsend thought choosing between 25 stunning women would be a dream come true. How wrong he was! Luke's patience is tried by the wiles of the charmers and the persistence of the camera crews. It doesn't take long for him to realize, however, that the one girl trying the hardest to get off the show is the one who most intrigues him.

Refreshing and Appealing

New author and narrator for me. Both did well, IMO. Fun story about a one percent chance. Ashley was roped into a bachelor picks a wife reality show when a contestant becomes ill. Shes everything opposite what is expected and plans to be one of the first 10 to NOT receive a rose invitation to the next round. Unfortunately, tripping into him up the red carpet made the first of many impressions and so, her bad luck continues as she passes round after round. Feeling desperate, she finally asks Luke Townsend, the hunky quarterback bachelor, not to choose her.
I love the feminine quality of Gillian Roses voice. It fit Ashleys character perfectly. At times she mumbles words somewhat so listening carefully is important.
Two Thumbs!
what a refreshing change.
I loved this book! I listen to a lot of horror/ apocalyptic types stories. and now and then I like to listen to romance, or maybe even something a little more adult.
This was such a nice little VACA for me. It was such a sweet book. It had me laughing and in shock in some parts. I thought it would be kind of on the Cheesy side, but boy was I wrong! Angie Stanton did a great job on this one! I will totally check out other books from her.
Narration: it was excellent! She fit very well with the main characters voice, and others as well. Job very well done!

A Nice Tespite
Not usually a fan of romance. This was a great respite from the heavier books and while I nursed a cold.
