Lucky in Shamrock, Texas
I downloaded this particular book on my Kindle from Amazon.com because I grew up just about 52miles from Shamrock, Texas....The book was cute....but the ending was so abrupt I didn't know what had happened. Could have been a few chapters longer with a better ending! Thanks Amazon.com!
Enjoyed this Cute story
The intriguing title got my attention. Cute story, easy to read and was entertaining. Enjoyed the characters and the setting of the story.

Lucky in Shamrock,Texas by Teresa Lilly is a light hearted Christian romance.
This is a story of Carol, a waitress that wants to leave town. She meets Pete, a handsome lawyer that comes to town to visit.
âThe lines have fallen to men pleasant places; yes, I have a goodly
heritageâ Psalms 16:6 , her mother's favorite verse made her think maybe Shamrock wouldn't be so bad with someone like Pete was around.

Can you find love in a small town?
Carol, a waitress feels stymied by her life in the small town of Shamrock, Texas. She longs to be able to afford a car so she can leave because she's convinced that staying would keep her from ever meeting a man she can love and be loved by and have a family with. Pete Bowler, an attorney from the big city is tired of being a small fish in a big pond and yearns for life in a small quiet town. He's friends with Joe, the man who owns the diner where Carol works. Joe doesn't want to lose the girl he thinks of as a daughter and as part of his ongoing process of trying to match Her up with someone. He introduces the two, and we can see God's resolution to all the problems. It was an okay read, not as good as her book Gambled Away. I was given a free copy for an honest review.
