This sermon for our annual Covenant Sunday reminds us that our relationship with God is not contractual - it's not what we do that makes God love us. He loves us with unconditional covenantal love - he pledges to be our Father. He simply wants us to be his children - to learn to love him with all our hearts, souls and minds. When we do that, then we can learn to love our neighbour in his name.
