Jesus doesn't avoid hard conversations or topics.  He goes right at them with love.  A perfect love that we can still experience today.  This message from our weekend service teaching time looks at an incident when Jesus brings healing to a man.  It can be found in John chapter 5.

American Psychiatric Association- Addiction is a complex condition, a brain disease that is manifested by compulsive substance use despite harmful consequence. 

• Almost 21 million Americans have at least one addiction, yet only 10% of them receive treatment.
• Drug overdose deaths have more than tripled since 1990.
• More than 90% of people who have an addiction started to drink alcohol or use drugs before they were 18 years old.
• ·  Sex 42.7% Of internet users view pornography
• ·       The National Council on Sexual Addiction Compulsivity estimated that of Americans up to 24 million people have a sexual addiction
• ·       Around 1 in 20 people met the criteria for food addiction. – Huff Post
