Love has so many ways

to sneak up on you

drawing your eyes to another

as you play peek-a-boo

it turns your hearts to friendship

till one turns out much more

as you start to notice

how much you adore

That girl who is prettier

then many girls that you knew

or that guy who fawns on you

with such sweet attributes

then suddenly you're caught

in love's most gentle touch

as love brings you a heartmate

that you'll love so much

every kiss, every hug, every gentle caress

then you will both know just

how well you were blessed

till your passions explode

and you become two as one

blending friendships into romance

and then love's 1st job is done

soon enough when you can't

get her out of your head

you will claim her forever

as you both are wed,

and though friendship will stay

with you both in each page

of your marital bliss, sadly

love's strengths will fade

because some of love's

acts like you bodies will age

but you'll know when you

finally come to life's end

that love gifted you with a

most special friend
