Love is a commitment more than it is an emotion or feeling. The commitment of love is what keeps us loving, forgiving, & reconciling. When the emotion of love disappears, then without commitment we will start behaving in anti-love, anti-forgiveness, and anti-reconciliation. Without the commitment of love you will eventually lose the emotion of love, because loving, forgiving, and reconciling will no longer be a priority.
