Love Is…
John 13:1

What defines you?

“Before the Passover Festival, Jesus knew that his hour had come to depart from this world to the Father. Having loved his own who were in the world, he loved them to the end.” – John 13:1

Love is wanting God’s best for someone and taking action to see it happen.

“Little Children, let us not love in word or speech, but in action and truth” – 1 John 3:18

To Love with truth is to love directed by truth

We cannot passively love

“I give you a new command, love one another. Just as I have loved you, you are to love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” – John 13:34-35

“For God so loved the world in this way, He gave His one and only son, so that everyone who believes in him would not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16
