My experiment to change fear into love.
After meditation, I was drawn back to an old book I love, Angels and Awakening by Julie Jancius, a course slash workbook on how to connect with angels.
I completed this course over two years ago, but as I read through the passages in the present, redoing the exercises in the margins, I saw the words in a different way, not better or worse, just, well the best way I can describe it is like watching a movie after you've read the novel. Deeper, maybe is the right word?
Julie Jancius requires that her students commit to a whole month of being in Oneness before they go further. Oneness is being connected to the all. It's the opposite of duality: me versus you, us versus them, you get the idea. Jancius asks for a solid month where students set aside -
1) All judgments of self and others
2) Negative thinking about self and others
3) Gossip
4) Politics
5) Thoughts of past emotional pain or triggers
