Have you found that at times you are not as devoted to God? That there are moments when you are just indifferent to what He wants or desires for you? These moments can come during prayer or on a Sunday morning when we head out to mass/church and maybe instead stay home because we do not feel like going.

Such a lukewarmness or indifference to the things of God show that we are in a very dangerous state of not loving God or others. This can lead to wickedness that must be fought with and overcome.
