In Galatians 5:22, Paul writes, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love…”

Love is listed first because it is foundational. Joy and peace flow from it. When the Spirit produces love in us, it changes how we see people.

The First Principle of God’s Love:

Seeing others through the eyes of love.

Our lives are shaped by those who loved us — and those who refused to love us. The way we were loved influences how we love, and God's unconditional is an example of how we are to love others.
