The apostle Paul reminds us that we should boast in our afflictions, not because pain is pleasant, but because of what it produces:

"We rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope..." — Romans 5:3-4

Every hardship becomes an invitation to grow. Every trial is a refining fire. When we endure, it brings glory to God—because it points to His sustaining grace, not our own strength. Endurance testifies that Christ is enough, even when everything else is stripped away.
