Love is the core feature of the real Christmas story, and if you think about it, it's also what clearly drove St. Nick to do what he did. He is a legendary figure around the world for a reason, but it's important to remember that there was something inside him that went far beyond simple gifts. The real St. Nick had experienced the love of a creator who said, "I choose you, and I love you." The legend of St. Nick is built on that simple truth.
