On this episode of And The Question Is with Dr. Graham, I have the privilege of swapping wisdom with a pair of powerhouse partners.  Husband and wife, Derek and Shelease Valentine are bringing nearly 50 years of combined corporate business and finance experience, as well as their faith and their 22 years of marriage to the table to offer tried and true advice for setting your relationship up for success when combining love, marriage and finances.   

Derek Valentine has held various roles throughout his 25 years of corporate experience including, Sales, Marketing, and Operations. His currently serves in a role as a Global Director -  External Diverse Talent Engagement for the Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG). Derek has earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from North Carolina State University and a Master’s in Business Administration in Marketing from Clark Atlanta University. He also holds licenses in the areas of securities/investments and life insurance.

 Shelease Valentine has held various roles throughout her 25 years of corporate experience including Finance, Risk Management and Collections.  Her previous experience includes serving as Vice President, Customer Credit Risk Manager at BB&T Commercial Finance, managing a $100MM furniture portfolio.  Shelease hails from the beautiful shores of Nassau, Bahamas.  

The couple has been married for 22 years and currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
