An OK Go! concert, a horror film a friend starred in, a play, and so so many good friends and a lot of delicious korean food. LA! Was bummed to be injured, but a secret blessing and gift to be able to see and spend time with the homies in LA! Big love and gratitude to the friend hosting me, and those who kept and keep me on trail through it all. And big shout out to the trail angels at the Christian Camp for their incredible kindness, generosity, and care.

I was initially going to upload this episode from town – a fun little bit of my zero day in town, and an essay I really loved by Anne Lamott, but of course something else had to happen. I sprained my ankle pretty badly, and am currently writing and uploading this from a Christian camp that took me in. Will probably be here for a few days until I'm able to walk again, hopefully soon!

Best day ever on trail, and a good good week of many, many miles - and so many characters

A real rollercoaster of a couple of days - from having a minor breakdown in Mission Creek to the desert heat making me consider night hiking to a full on hailstorm turned snowstorm, I am grateful to be in Big Bear Lake, sleeping in a bed at a Trail Angel's!

Finally in Idyllwild! A shower and laundry, vegetables and an indoor sleep! Finally encountered snow, and realising some things about my own journey in solitude and sense of self and discovery.

hit 100 miles today! and the sound of a creek and some wind and a rattley tent and some rattlesnakes, two cute frog buds and a fox who came for water.
