It is disheartening to witness the lack of empathy in our nation, where people mock the President's fall, criticize Mitch McConnell, and cheer on the death of Senator Feinstein [3]. The decline of compassion in America raises concerns about our societal values and moral compass. Extremist religious cults further exacerbate the situation by spreading lies and assuming the role of false prophets [3]. However, it is important to remember that Jesus taught us to refrain from judging others and instead focus on personal improvement [3]. The interpretation of religious texts, written and edited by humans, should be viewed as a source of enlightenment and guidance rather than the infallible word of God [3].
It is concerning that the War of Misinformation is still prevalent and causing division within the United States [1]. The spread of false information and propaganda can lead to increased tension and hostility between different groups of people. Additionally, the government shutdown due to the inability to pass a budget is a major issue that could result in significant job losses for many individuals [1]. It's important for Americans to fact-check information and elect capable and rational individuals to positions of power [3]. By doing so, the nation can work towards a more unified and prosperous future.
We are excited to celebrate LGBTQ History Month and honor individuals who have made significant contributions to the LGBTQ community. We invite everyone to submit pictures and bios of their family members or anyone they know who has made a positive impact. Additionally, we are launching a campaign for allies to participate in. If you are straight and have a loved one who identifies as LGBTQ, we encourage you to create a sign expressing your support and record a video explaining why LGBTQ rights are important and what needs to be done for the future. Please send your submissions to the address provided. We are also hosting a fundraiser to purchase our current location, as our landlord is selling the property. With your support, we can ensure that our clients continue to receive the care they deserve. Any contribution, whether it's for the down payment or the full amount, will make a difference.
