“Love, Scott” is a documentary that follows the journey of an openly gay man after he was violently attacked in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. Despite the victim’s protests, authorities did not classify the assault as a hate crime.

Laura Marie Wayne is the director of the film. She takes us beyond the newspapers and media coverage to share the personal story of Scott Jones as he begins his path to recovery.
