While watching ‘Couples therapy’ Dr.Orna’s prompt to a couple on opposite ends of the political spectrum was to ‘Take politics out of it and try to state what is important to you. While this technically led to the husband saying the wife had ’Trump derangement syndrome”(new term un-locked for me)it did give me an ‘aha’ moment. We all have a political hysteria, fatigue and raw nerve when it comes to our politics in this country right now. So maybe it would be productive to take Orna’s prompt here and have an honest, un-triggered, no slogan, no buzzword conversation between two libturds(We realized too late that our use of Libtard involves a word which we are not saying anymore-please don’t revoke or woke cards, I don’t know how quickly we can get to Portland forNeil Young to issue another)away from the charged pundit climate, just being ourselves. Maybe it will dispel some common misconceptions about us, maybe it will make it seem like less of a faceless monolith moving in blind obedience. I hope it will shed light on our core values, our intentions, our hopes, our ability to hold nuance, out willingness to call out our weaknesses, call out our bad eggs and try to turn this car around collectively. If you can get past the septum rings we can work on accepting the bottom liner. Hear us out.
